The Canary Islands is one of 17 provinces of the Kingdom of Spain located in 1500 km from the Peninsula and in only just 100 km from the west coast of Africa in the Atlantic Ocean. This archipelago consists of seven large and many small islands of volcanic origin. It is one of the most popular and fashionable resorts all over the world.

Tenerife is the largest of the seven islands of the Canary archipelago. The total area of the Canarias is 7500sq. km. The islands spread between 27 ° 38 'and 29 ° 35' north latitude and between 13°20' and 18 ° 14' west longitude. It means that from the east to the west the island stretches for 500 km (between the islands of La Palma and Lanzarote), and from the north to the south for 200 km. The population of the Canary Islands professes Catholicism.  The ruling regime is a constitutional monarchy. King Juan Carlos de Borbon and Queen Sofia run the country. Time in Tenerife is 3 hours behind Moscow time.

Tenerife’s weather constantly changes depending on your location. The hottest climate is in the south and south-west part of the island. If we get around the Teide chill breezes and even snow can meet us and it is quite normal in winter and spring months. There is the lowest difference in winter and spring temperatures in Tenerife to compare to any other place in the world. It rains very seldom and there is no such thing as * long monsoon* in Tenerife. Average temperature in winter is 17 C and is 26C in summer. That’s why you can enjoy the beautiful weather in this smooth and soft climate zone all year round

On the islands you’ll be very surprised by the number of micro-climatic zones which give you the chance to luxuriate in the warm sunshine and at the sea, climb to the top of the Teide and inhale sharp air and enjoy the snow and…this is only an hour away by car! Soft sand beaches are just in a few kilometers away from rich densely forests where cedars and eucalyptus interchange with each other will fill your lungs with so nectarine aroma that you feel yourself in Heaven!!!!!  And of course*IF YOU ARE FOND OF MUSHROOMING* Nothing can replace the excitement from the full basket of very tasty mushrooms which you’ve just picked in November.

What a unique contrast to feel!!!  The ocean with its turquoise blue waters and  the richest marine life, these rugged mountain ranges with the bright blue sky above and white, woolly clouds like the clouds from your childhood… which suddenly turn into the road right at your feet. The Canarias climate is one of the healthiest in the world. However, please, remember that the temperature can get significantly down in 30 minutes, especially during the winter months, so do not forget to take something warm to wear.                                                                                             

Coastal areas, such as Las Americas, Los Cristianos, El Pal Mar, Los Gigantes, Callao Salvaje, Playa Paraiso  allow  you to enjoy more sun and less clouds, the best weather in the world and pleasant temperatures all year round.
